USAF MISSION

The United States Aikido Federation (USAF) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to spreading and maintaining the Japanese martial art of Aikido as created and exemplified by it’s founder, Morihei Ueshiba. As the largest Aikido organization in America and the official U.S. representative to the International Aikido Federation, the USAF strives to promote goodwill and friendship among members of the USAF and other Aikido organizations around the world.

By developing and guiding the practice and instruction of Aikido in accordance with Aikido World Headquarters, Hombu Dojo, and with members and instructors spanning many generations, nationalities and origins, the USAF supports and encourages positive practice and technical proficiency to ensure the future preservation of traditional Aikido.

The USAF promotes relationships based on respect and openly welcomes all newcomers eager to learn Aikido.
