Sioux Hall Shihan Memorial Seminar
On Saturday, October 24, 2015, Harvard Aikikai will be holding an Aikido seminar to honor Sioux Hall's nearly 40 years of dedication on love for the art of Aikido. THE SEMINAR WILL BE HELD AT NEW ENGLAND AIKIKAI. We are requesting a seminar donation fee of $50 for the day. If you can donate more, please do. If not, please speak with Dolita Cathcart when you arrive. We will hold three classes in the morning and three classes in the afternoon. At the end of the day we will have some light snacks for all to enjoy and, hopefully, many memories of Sioux to share. We are fortunate to have two great guest instructors: Bonnie Vesey, rokudan, shidoin, from Skylands Aikikai, and Karen De Paola, rokudan, shidoin, of Skylands Aikikai. Also teaching will be Dolita Cathcart, go dan, fukushidoin, and chief instructor of Harvard Aikikai. We know this is a heavy seminar season, but we hope you will be able to drop in, practice with old friends, put aside old grudges, and come to celebrate a woman whose profound love of the art can still be felt today.
